Goddess Hades (of the Femythology series)

My personal project "Femythology" is a collection of visual retellings of familiar patriarchal myths. The chained goddess has awakened and furiously reincarnates all of the heroes and gods of greek myths in a restorative storm. Will it restore balance and bring back peace?

I wanted a refreshing take on Hades so I concentrated on his association with wealth and riches. The Byzantine era was my inspiration for the gold opulance of the throne room, with an obvious nod to the mosaic of empress Theodora.
